Post Post subject: New Signings
What does everyone think of the new signings by some teams and the rumours of linking players to clubs.

I for 1 am excited by the young talented prospects of anderson and Nani for united. Im still uncertain on Hargreaves, but even more so about the rumours of nicolas anelka joining!!!

Capaldi is apparantly a good signing for city but am not sure, i want some premiership players to sign. ...

tell us what you think

I'm very excited about the prospects of Nani and Anderson. I think they can do wonders for united. Especially with the team we have already got...makes me wonder who will be making way for them...cos last i heard, nani is a left mid. does that mean giggsy won't play such a prominent role this season?

Again, I had question marks, over the signing of hargreaves. I thought he would have been a great signing last season, but then then united bought Carrick, who is essentially the same player as hargreaves...Where he will fit into the lineup, we'll have to wait and see!

Check out this short video of Anderson doing his stuff! Especially the trick he does at 1minute 50! It's called the reverse gooch. It is quite possibly the best move I have ever seen!

Same here Jon, Im hoping that some premiership quality players will be coming our way. When the rumour was rife about us getting Alan Smith, I honestly thought we are beginning to set our sights a little higher.

Man Utd have an awesome midfield now, but i have to say, who are you going to play?? It smacks me that these signings were made for the sake of it and werent really needed, but hey, there will be some exciting football in old Trafford this season nonetheless.

Liverpool are going to buy badly in the summer, I just know it. Sidwell for Chelsea - silly boy, is it really worth all that money just to sit on the bench? Just ask Damien Duff! Should have stayed at Reading and remained a God for the Royals.

If Wenger leaves Arsenal too, how much do you reckon it will affect the team? Henry looks like he's off anyway (rumour has it Milan are after him) and if Arsene goes, surely the Va Va Voom will Voom straight outta the Emirates this summer.

Mr Darren Bent a £17m buy to Spurs from Charlton. As a Spurs supporter I wasnt totally happy or convinced about this riddiculus price tag, especially as it was in a postion that we didnt need improving in the 1st place.I will give him a chance tho as u should to any player to joins a new club.Looking at his goal ratio tho im pretty impressed and given his chance think he will shoot us into the top 4.Sell Mido for £4m Defoe for £10m to get our money back then we will have 3strikers.Dont forget we do have 2 strikers in the names of Lee Barnard and Tomas Pekhart,Pekhart last season scored 20 goals in 20games in our youth league.

Every Spurs supporter knows that the left side is what we need improving on drastically,we today sold Reto Zeigler who I thought was a decent young left winger(who is my 1st choice left winger on football manager by the way)we didnt really give a chance to Andy Reid too,not the quickest but one heck of a left peg on him,soo no wonder they are having probs on that side.I'd say bring back Ginola back in his heyday and Stephan Dalmat who I thought was amazing. We have Gareth Bale at left back now, abit pricey at £10m but im convinced he will be well worth every penny and bang in free kicks, and of course hes from Cardiff aswell, always a bonus Smile

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!

Would be good to see what he's capable of and whether he's got what it takes still.
