How much would you spend on a night out?

What is that if you went out twice?

Work that out... (how much are you on?!)

How much would you spend on a footy gang trip or a day event to something else? (i.e. Karting, Paintballing, Adventure Day, Rock Climbing)

If the figures you are coming out with are £70 or over read on.. else... NAFF OFF!

Now, this is a serious suggestion... It would cost £850, (which would work out at about £60pp if all 14 regulars took this up) and you would need to buy a helmet (safety first at TTFE but they don't cost a lot!)

Fuel would be cheap and we may need a trailor. I know of a field we could ask to use - but there is no point me approaching the farmer unless i know people are in for this!

This has to be the craziest thread I ever read. As much as that sounds fun and all, I would quite confidently state that I have no interest in such an idea. I sincerely hope that it does go ahead though as it would be sheer comedy to watch in action.

for the sake of £60-£70... this would replace 2 karting trips but we would get so much more for our money... i urge you, to think of the absolute fun and hilarity all in one!

im sure i've got a scalectrix knocking around somewhere Chris, thats bound to be much safer


if you do get the idea off the ground, would everyone need their own helmet? are they made to measure? could you not share one or two between you to help keep costs down, seeing as you'd only get one person in the kart at any given time?

A cracking point... People could club together to buy helmets if they have the same size heads (there are only a few sizes (xs, s, m, l, xl)

scalectrix aren't as much fun as an off-road buggy but alas, i don't think people are up for this, more fool you lot - you only live once!

Dear all,

I cannot say how disappointed I am with you all.

The mundane, the boring, the uninspired ideas get a yes, lets do that response and this fun idea has been rejected with lame excuses of a lack of money etc.

I urge you all to reconsider - how many chances, how many groups and how often do you get the chance to do fun, random things like this.

More importantly though, do you think that in a few years, when your arthritus is kicking in that you might look back and think, i wish i had done some more adventurous stuff when i was younger - sure, i didn't have much money but at least i had a laugh with my mates!

The truth is, it's got nothing to do with money, (in my opinion) cos £70 is not a huge amount for the good times and the memories that this could provide. Now i could tell you all about my sess-pit go-kart story from when i was a kid but i'm sure i have told most of you it anyway. And if i have told you it, i probably had a huge smile on my face while i did and laughed at all the relivant moments according to how i remembered it but then i already have that memory, and i want more.

I just don't think you have seriously considered the fun and memories this shit would provide.

You only live once, well... i will, but you guys may just choose to only be alive once.

I'm here and i'm gonna live it - please feel free to join me on this ride.
