Ahead of this afternoon's tee-off, I'm gonna stick my neck out and go for 'The Goose'.

Should Tiger Woods falter, I think Retief Goosen is a good bet to make you some money.
He finished runner-up last year for the second time and has had four Top 3 finishes there.

I know Jenny Bear would agree he's got the short game that suits the lightning fast greens of the Augusta National. Smile

Now I'm not saying that the first Major of the season is better than Guitar Hero, I'm just saying i'll be watching and that's my tip! Wink

I'll report back on Monday, all the best.

Much love Greg, cheers for being TTFE's official Masters correspondent.

I would watch the BBC coverage but I'm afraid I just can't hack the presenting of Gary Lineker on anything other than football. Its just plain wrong. He tries bless him, but I just keep expecting him to usher in a thrilling encounter between Wigan and Fulham, than leading us on the 13th hole with a Par 5.

Start of Day 2 and I know what you're all wondering...
Where's The Goose??!

Don't worry, he's sitting pretty 3 shots off the lead at 1 under, ominously 1 shot ahead of Tiger!

England's Justin Rose is the joint leader at -4. Woooo!
I say "Pah!!!" He's done this twice before, leading after the first round, you need to be leading after the final round, dickballs! Twisted Evil

If you're looking for a home winner, my tip would be Paul Casey who is also at -1 after the first round.
Always goes well does Casey.

Finally, if the big guns fall away, look out for an unknown American to do well.
You'll spot him easily, he'll be called Brad, Chad, Chuck or Zach! Or he'll have the nickname "Butch." Wink

Holla.

Just thought I'd do a bit of forum housekeeping on this thread. I haven't wrapped it up till this point due to depression at the result!

So Trevor Immelman won the green jacket. Who? Exactly! Mad

He's a South African golfer, so I got the natinality of the winner right, just the wrong man.
Ok I've never heard of him, he'd missed the cut in his previous four tournaments. But he played out of his skin and pipped the Tiger to the title.

Paul Casey did finish as top Brit back at level par and Justin Rose fell away, so some of my prdictions came off.
But as for GooseWatch - he finished at +2, 10 shots back. A reasonable finish but not a winner! No premium paid. Crying or Very sad
