Sorry Luke... I got the date wrong, I meant September.

That is a very good point Peter but I think the differences are large enough for me to continue promoting this idea...

TTFE seems to enjoy turning up for football, playing the game and then leaving and nothing more and that's what I'm suggesting here... with a slight difference, the game that is played in the middle section.

The date, time and location might cause some people not to be available but with these type of games, I reckon we can invite everyone because we can't have too many players... the more the merrier... and being able to invite anyone and everyone means we are not so dependant on making sure everyone is available.

As long as we get say, 5 people, I think it can go ahead... if the numbers are low-ish, we'll just play a scoring based game... i.e. every man tries to get a good score for himself and everyone else is is bowling/fielding to try and get him out.

The previous thread you've found was also a bit of a meandering selection of constantly changing idea's that seemed to end up as cricket, beers and family day and I think that probably didn't work in it's favour... the idea though, (I think), is sound...

So,... first post updated....

Who else is in or out?

(and who is shaking it all about?)

Cheers

Apologies Chris, I have been holding off replying as I'm not sure if I'm working on that day. Either that, or I'm hoping to score tickets to Merthyr Rock.

I'll keep you posted!
